Another one of the fun activities I did in sixth was the story sequence.
A novel study is where the whole class is given a book to read and the teacher specifies how many chapters to read each day. After the book is done, we do projects and activities related to it. One of them was the story sequence. I made it for another one of the novel studies, 'The Tale Of Despereaux'(Des-pair-oh).
Making a story sequence is very easy. Here are 7 simple steps to make your very own:
1) How many?- Choose how many chapters are you making the sequence for.
2) Events- Choose the events which you think are most important/funny in those chapters.
3) Paper- Cut out quarters of A-4 sheets (If you have 10 events cut out 10 quarters
4) Drawing- Draw them out!
5) Label- Write 1-3 sentences describing what happened in that event.
6) Coloring- Color you drawings, sketch out you labels and make some colorful borders.
