They just fit the name! Scary but friendly. They never mean any harm to humans. In fact, they don't even know why humans look at them and run away! The Ghosties in this story are: Tabitha Tumbly, Charlie Vapour, Agatha Draft, Wither, Pamela Fraidy and Humphrey Bump. You might be able to guess their talents by their names.
This story is narrated by Charlie Vapour, who was very practical and did not enjoy jokes very much. In this, the Ghosties are on a holler day ( holiday ). They can never decide where to go on a holiday. Half of them want to go to Scare-borough and the other fancied Frighten. Anyway, they decide to go to Frighten as they mostly go to Scare- borough.
Once they reach there ( which was not a problem because of the frightened people), many Ghosties start warning Charlie about a caped figure haunting the place. He does not believe them until... One night when he couldn't sleep he went out and met a good friend of his who, after some time disappeared. Web Charlie turned around, he saw the caped figure! Since then on it was haunting him and not letting him have a proper holler day.
Incredibly creative and funny book perfect for people who like adventures, suspense and silly things! Please do read this book.
