Abduction - John Grisham

Here is another one of Grisham's Theodore Boone. Theo, as most of you know is a 13 year old boy whose extremely smart thanks to his lawyer parents Woods Boone and Marcella Boone. He is very well versed with the law and also has a couple of friends in the police because of his renowned parents.

In this book Theo and his parents are woken up very early in the morning  (at about 3 am) by summons from the police who asked them to immediately start off to April Finnemore's house. April is Theo's best friends and after a few questions exchanged between the Boones they get to know that April was abducted.

By the next morning the news spreads and so does fear for April throughout the town. Everyone keeps asking him if he had ANY idea of where April could be. Although everyone means well, they couldn't be more distraught. Once that even the police hit a dead end , then decides to use his knowledge and supreme investigating skills to find April.

In my opinion the Theodore Boone series are the best that John Grisham has written. Theo is like a Nancy Drew only smarter. He has clever investigating ideas and know just how to put off some police officers or generally nosy people by mentioning a law they probably didn't know. You should definitely give this book a read. You won't regret it and you'll probably get hooked onto the series!
